Nasaka es una marca de joyería. El nombre Nasaka proviene de las iniciales de la
diseñadora de joyeria Katherine Satizabal Narváez.
Terminó sus estudios como Diseñadora Industrial en la Universidad del Valle, Cali,
Colombia en 2007. Nació en Colombia, cuando era niña vivía en una granja, rodeada de
grandes árboles frondosos, arroyos cristalinos, plantados con cacao y noches estrelladas con ranas y luciérnagas.
Luego se mudó a México en 2011; Allí descubrió el mundo de la joyería y encontró su
pasión. Durante algunos años trabajó en la industria del diseño mecánico, donde aprendió sobre engranajes, diferentes tipos de mecanismos, el comportamiento de los materiales y el diseño 3D.
Su trabajo en joyería se caracteriza por piezas cinéticas y/o tesoros escondidos. Combinó su conocimiento sobre los mecanismos, su amor e inspiración por la naturaleza y su pasión por la joyería, siendo esta una herramienta para expresar ideas en piezas miniaturas.
Nasaka hace uso de herramientas digitales para esculpir piezas o comprobación de los
mecanismos. Los materiales principalmente usados son oro y plata.

Nasaka is a Jewelry brand. The name Nasaka comes from the initials of the Jewelry
Designer Katherine Satizabal Narváez.
She finished her studies as an Industrial Designer at the University of Valle, Cali, Colombia in 2007. She was born in Colombia, as a child she lived on a farm, surrounded by large, leafy trees, crystal clear streams, planted with cocoa and starry nights with frogs and fireflies.
She then moved to Mexico in 2011; there she discovered the world of jewelry and she
found her passion.
For some years she worked in the mechanical design industry where she learned about
gears, different kinds of mechanisms, the behavior of materials and 3D design.
Her work in jewelry is characterized by kinetic pieces and hidden treasures. She combined her knowledge about mechanisms, her love and inspiration by nature and her passion for jewelry; been this a tool to express ideas in miniature pieces.
